Example Tyre Reading

If you take a close look at the side of your tyres, you will see the following information. Once you have properly read your tyre dimensions as described below, you can be confident to order exactly the right tyre for your car. If there is anything you are unsure of, please call.

185-Width

This is the Section Width in millimeters. This measurement is taken from sidewall to sidewall.

55-Profile

This number refers to the height of the sidewall, or the Aspect Ratio. It is a percentage of the section width. In this example, you would take 55 percent of 185 millimeters and this would give you the sidewall height.
